Pottery Retreat residents have the option of staying at the Potters Villa or the Main residence during their time here.
The villa is a small building towards the far end of the property; it faces the orchard and is a two-minute walk from the studio. It can house 6 residents at any given time. The villa is a cozy space with all rooms opening onto a central lounge where residents get together for meals, music and socializing with other residents.
The main residence is a more private, elevated stay that is shared with the hosts and founders of Aura. Surrounded by lush gardens and serenity, and home to more than hundred lifestyle ceramics crafted by Andy, guests can immerse themselves in an elegant ambience and unwind in utmost comfort. The main residence has 2 large, private, double occupancy bedrooms, and can accomodate upto 4 people at any given time. The rooms are large, serene and with a beautiful garden or pool view.

Lounging About in the Main Residence
A large, luxurious, warm and inviting common space in the Main Residence waits for you to treat it as your own. With comfortable low seating, a TV room, library, fireplace, dining area, bar and dry kitchen – the common spaces in the ground floor of the main residence make for a beautifully cozy and private space. A piano if you’re a musician, or the decks by the pool if you’re more inclined to relaxing. Our in-house gallery hold our collection of ceramic artworks crafted, documented and displayed over the years.

The Potters Villa has a warm, welcoming central lounge that all the rooms open into. Enjoy this space for your meals, resting and interaction with other guests. The villa is a cozy space with all rooms opening onto a central lounge where residents get together for meals, music and socializing with other residents. Perfect for catching a read, your ukulele sessions or catching up on work, the lounge can be your very own comfort space.
The Outdoors
Sprawled across 3 acres of lush greenery, the outdoors of Aura are the main attraction of why our guests choose us. The open spaces, including a swimming pool, an orchard, a kitchen garden, meditation circle and various gardens are perfect for walks and time off during your stay here.

With our carefully designed workspace, you can attend to your office duries, manage emails, accounts, all the while looking out at the dense foliage. Your creative sojourn does not have to be an escape but a holistic experience where the demands of both leisure find exquisite balance.
Flora & Fauna
Of all things Aura is home to, is it home to a diverse range of species of birds, insects, reptiles, and other creatures that belong to the ecosystem of this place. White-throated kingfishers, sunbirds, Indian spotted owlets, checkered keelbacks are a few. Different seasons bring with them different sightings, and we hope you get lucky with them!
Amenities & Facilities
A small pantry and coffee station in the potters villa and main residence is equipped with essential crockery, cutlery, toaster, tea/coffee station and a refrigerator. Help yourself to your afternoon or evening refreshment needs and feel at home with cookies and savoury snacks available. Feel free to order snacks from the in-house menu during the mentioned hours.
We understand you’re likely spending a long time at Aura and may require linen changes or a round or two of laundry, drying and ironing. Our housekeeping staff can be requested for these as per your needs. Residents can request a load of laundry at INR500 per load. We recommend optimizing your request for laundry and handing over a ‘bigger’ load than an item or two.
