You can book a workshop right here.

You can send us a request for booking via the form at the bottom of the page, or via email at hello@aurapottery.com. Alternatively, you could call us on +91 98883 68198 for any inquiries.

We accept payments via GooglePay or wire transfer. All payments must be made in full in advance. Charges for additional services during your stay can be paid for in cash as well. Unfortunately, we don’t accept credit/debit cards at the moment.
The Studio
Your workshop piece will remain in the studio for 4 weeks to be glazed and fired and you may collect it thereafter from the studio. In case you’re unable to pick up your piece, we will be happy to ship it across to you! (However, additional shipping charges will be applicable.)
The instructor is available at the studio from 11 AM to 5 PM. The studio is open 24×7 for the pottery retreat guests provided they adhere to the studio rules.
There are no hard and fast rules. You must use the material provided and make sure to clean up after using the space.
Yes, we encourage pre-booking your slot for the workshop. We welcome walk-ins subject to availability but we recommend reserving a slot in advance

Absolutely not! Our sessions are great for anyone with or without any experience working with clay. Our instructor will patiently guide you through the entire process.

We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting clay on. Feel free to bring your own aprons but we provide aprons at the studio as well. We also recommend working with trimmed nails and removing any precious jewelry and watches.

During The Stay

Yes, free wi-fi is available throughout the stay.

Smoking indoors is not permitted. Please bring your own snacks, smokes and alcohol. Drugs are not permitted, please refrain from any drug use.

Yes, we have parking at the studio.

Around Aura
Chandigarh is approximately a 20 minute drive from Aura. Uber is available in the area and there are several other taxi services that you could book.
Yes, there is a small clinic close by. In case of an emergency, the closest hospital is about 20 minutes away.

We offer retreats ranging from two weeks to three months. We even offer stays less than a week or weekend retreats subject to availability. Please read up on all retreat options here.

Yes, it is possible to extend your stay subject to availability. You could either notify us prior to your stay or even during your stay here and accordingly, we will let you know the applicable charges.

You will share your room with another pottery resident at Aura. We even offer single-occupancy rooms with en-suite (attached) bathrooms.

The retreat fees include studio and material use, instruction, accommodation and all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). However, the firing charges are not included in the fees.

Yes, all the rooms at the villa are air-conditioned and are equipped with ceiling fans as well.

Yes, we provide portable heaters during the winter. Additionally, all the rooms are equipped with warm blankets.

During the summer (April-October), all you need is a couple comfortable t-shirts and shorts. During the chilly winter (December-February), make sure to carry warm sweaters, hoodies, jackets, warm lowers and socks. We do offer basic toiletries such as soaps and shampoos but feel free to carry your own essentials.

We offer simple, organic and wholesome vegetarian meals curated by our in-house chef. We mostly use produce from our very own organic kitchen garden. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions beforehand so that we can ensure a pleasant experience for you!
Yes, there is a little dry pantry at the villa that is equipped with tea, coffee and snacks. Feel free to help yourself anytime but make sure to clean-up after!

Yes, all rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a private shower.

Yes, there are two separate (twin) beds in the double occupancy rooms.

Yes, we offer a laundry service at an additional charge of Rs. 500 per load. An iron and ironing board can also be provided on request.

Pool timings are 6-8 am and 6-8pm
