EXCELLENT Based on 151 reviews Posted on Priyanshi VakhariaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Aura is a wonderful breath of fresh air (quite literally) as far as holidays go. I spent a refreshing week in the pottery studio but also on the farm, with the gorgeous dogs and with the warmest hosts — Andy and Anya. I can’t wait to visit again.Posted on Purvi BahlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My experience at aura was truly phenomenal. I had such a great time with the kindest and loveliest hosts Andy and Anya along with all the new friends I made there, such wonderful people. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had! From learning the skills and techniques required to work with clay to actually ending up making my own pieces…. it was a memorable and rewarding journey whilst having fun along the way!! Would highly recommend !!Posted on Anna-Svea JensenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I spent two weeks at Aura, and honestly, it’s beyond words. It was restorative and enriching in ways I couldn’t have imagined. The energy of the farm grounds you immediately, and combined present. Mornings with yoga, nourishing meals, and the daily routine are just perfect. The skills I gained were thoughtfully guided and individualized. But truly, the most remarkable part was the energy of Andy, Anya, and their family, as well as the community that naturally forms. It’s truly unique, and I’ll absolutely return!Posted on Anna EibelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Staying at Aura was a truly enriching experience for me. The atmosphere is deeply calming – surrounded by endless greenery and the sounds of birds, it feels like a little paradise. The sense of community with the guests, Andy and Anya is also very special. Living and working in the studio together so closely creates a warm, almost family-like environment. As an artistic person, I felt incredibly inspired here. I learned so much from Andy – her passion for teaching is inspiring, and she generously shares her knowledge and expertise. Two great add-ons are also that the food was absolutely incredible (!) as well as the four cuddly, super-cute dogs. I gained a lot from this experience and would recommend Aura to anyone who wants to be immersed in creativity and a calming atmosphere. Thank you Andy, Anya and Amisha!Posted on vina mistryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Aura Pottery is gorgeous pottery retreat in the North of India. I was there for 8 days and and had a wonderful experience. The studio is a well equipped space with a great calming atmosphere. Andy who owns the retreat, is an amazing ceramicist. She is inspirational and encouraged me to explore lots of new skills. The retreat is stunning with everything you could want for a luxurious experience, whilst still doing pottery. The accommodation is great, clean and comfortable and there is amazing fresh food everyday. Andy & Anya have a wonderful retreat that I would recommend to anyone who wants to have an amazing pottery retreat in India.Posted on Pam KrauseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I spent 4 weeks at Aura, I felt at home from the second I arrived. I have made some new friends almost like extended family. I've learnt some amazing techniques and came home full of great ideas. The tuition we received from Andy was first class, starting with really basic things and quickly progressing to each person's level and then getting you to stretch your limits. During my time there Andy and Anya were renovating the studio the builders were super efficient and it was exciting to see the changes each day. Their vision came to life around us. I was there during the Holi festival which we celebrated along with other family and friends of Andy and Anya, we felt like a family. The meals were amazing and have to say the staff coped with veg/non veg and various food allergies with seemingly no problems. The whole place was amazing, from the daily Yoga in the mornings to the dogs, loved Milo, and the encouragement from everyone I could not have asked for more. Be warned.... I will be back.Posted on Vikram HaerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful farm full of art and joy, and a creative space to experience and learn pottery. I had the opportunity to tour the grounds and look forward to attending for a retreat someday. Andy and team are so welcoming and everyone we spoke to was so happy to be there!Posted on Arlene RamageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A lush haven to relax, yoga, creating pottery, eating wonderful food and just chilling in the sunshine. Kind, helpful hosts, comfortable accommodation, help and suggestions for organising sightseeing. A wonderful holiday.
