Pottery Retreats
Bored of your cliched holiday plans? We have an idea for you!
Bookings for Pottery Retreats at Aura are now open! We are knee-deep in finishing up the Potters Villa and we swear it cleaned up pretty good! During your Retreat, you’ll be learning pottery right from scratch till your pot comes out of the kiln ready to be used and loved. We’ll make a whole collection together, glaze them and learn patience together!

Potters Villa
A cozy space with all rooms opening onto a central lounge where all the resident potters get together for meals, music and socializing!
Pottery Retreat residents stay at the Potters Villa during their residency. The villa is a small building towards the far end of the property; it faces the orchard and is a two-minute walk from the studio. It can house 10 residents at any given time. The villa is a cozy space with all rooms opening onto a central lounge where residents get together for meals, music and socializing with other residents.

Pottery Summer Camp
A perfect fun – filled week for our little friends!
This summer, give your child an experience that will encourage their creativity! During our hands on clay camp, your child will be taught various clay making skills. We start with pinch pots, and use our imagination to transform clay using slabs and coils to create fun and functional ceramics. This five day summer camp will teach your kids to sculpt, carve, imprint and paint in clay. Come and explore the world of clay with us!
The camp includes the following workshops-
Day 1 – Create Leaf Trays
Day 2 – Pinch your own cereal bowl
Day 3 – Design a sign for your room (using stencils)
Day 4 – Create your favorite cartoon character (slab)
Day 5 – Paint a plate/bowl
Ages: 10 – 16
Class Fees: Rs. 9500 per student/ 5 days
Timings: 11am – 1pm
Spots: Max 8 kids per batch
Materials: Clay, Glaze, & Firing included!

Pottery Courses
Experience one of the oldest art forms, to create something on your own, for yourself, to connect with nature and most importantly understanding your own self whilst connected to the medium.
Never having experienced clay before, our workshops are the perfect way to explore the material without having to commit to a long term course. Our studio is a community workspace as well as a multi-disciplinary teaching studio. Students take up long running projects applying the techniques they’ve learnt through basic courses and produce conceptual and functional ceramics. You can pick and choose your projects and explore the medium at your own pace. Working in clay has to be fun and therapeutic!
