The farm is so relaxing and welcoming, I felt at home straight away. I had such a great time and learnt so much both on the wheel and hand building, within those 10 days. The instructors Poppy and Poornima are the best I have ever come across, they are both so attentive and knowledgable and so willing to share their pearls of wisdom! I got a lot of 1 on 1 tutoring from them which was invaluable. The food was delicious, my room was super comfortable and I felt so looked after by the WHOLE aura team. I can’t wait to return, I will most definitely be back. Thank you Aura team x Ekta Oza2024-12-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The farm, the food and the overall stay matched the experience of working with clay very well. I will be back soon for a longer workshop. Visited recently for a 1 week residential retreat, and only wish i could've stayed longer! The property is beautiful and peaceful, as is the accomodation. All the meals were incredibly delicious! The teachers and staff were so wonderful and knowledgable, within a week i felt id learnt much more than id initially anticipated. My only regret is that i didn't book a longer stay. I'll be back for sure!
The studio is a roughly 1000 sq. ft. space, dedicated to the art of ceramics. The inside of the studio is segmented into throwing areas, hand-building spaces, and drying, finishing, and storage areas. It is a modern, well-equipped space with access to all necessary tools. The glazing activity is carried out in the open. All sides of the studio building open onto various courtyards that have other facilities. Find more here.
Aura is a private pottery farm and the accommodation is within the same premises. We have different options for stay & accommodation – the Potters Villa and the Main Private Residence. The potters villa is shared with the instructors, and other students. The Main residence is a shared space with the hosts/family of founders/owners.
We believe in the power of food to nourish both body and soul, which is why we take pride in serving simple home cooked meals made with farm grown/locally sourced produce.
