Aura Pottery India – February Newsletter 2023
January in Northern India is a month of transition, from the frosty chill of winter to a hint of spring’s sweet attraction. The sun rises later, casting a golden hue, as the morning fog lifts, revealing the skies of blue. It’s a time to cherish the silence and peace, and to gather the strength to welcome new beginnings. We at Aura are a team of go-getters, of course we took it slow on dreary winter days but this month we worked with an extra scoop of zeal. 2023 seems magical already!
Product Prototyping at Aura
January involved creating mockup designs for the next shop update, so keep your eyes peeled for the next drop! It’s been a cold and damp month with a handful of sunny days, thereby staggering the timeline of the process. We are being patient and not giving into the urge of putting the designs in production without doing the preliminary tests.
Crossing our fingers and hoping for our lovely baking dishes, cake stands and candle holders to come out of the kiln intact.
Aura Team is Growing
This month we welcomed Anjali, our new resident potter. She had earlier interned with various potters all across the country, thus bringing a plethora of knowledge with her. We are looking forward to learning and sharing experiences with her. Come, say hello to our new instructor and start your clay journey.
Daily Workshops at Aura
We are overwhelmed with the response and love we received this month from our local audience. This year, we decided to start workshops everyday instead of conducting them just on Wednesdays and Saturdays and you guys came to Aura like a moth to a flame.
We look forward to meeting more of you and let’s talk about art, dogs, design and all things beautiful.

On high demand, we designed special workshops for couples, and friends who are looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
